Following an initial tour of the facilities earlier this year, DSC Energy once again welcomed our customer, one of Southeast Asia’s leading lead-acid battery manufacturers, to visit the most advanced BESS developed by our partners, which recently became operational in northern Taiwan.
As the customer explores new energy storage opportunities amid the region’s continued expansion of solar power, the visit offered a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of every stage in developing a medium- or large-scale BESS. Before the site visit, our partner company welcomed the customer to its New Taipei City office, where we discussed the fundamentals of planning an energy storage system, including how to determine the most suitable operating model and calculate the payback period for behind-the-meter storage projects.
Our partner also showcased its cloud-based monitoring platform, which is expected to launch at this year’s Energy Taiwan exhibition.
